Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Night Shift
Location: York Hospital, York, Maine
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Night Shift, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, 3 shifts/week (12 hours each)
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (possibility of variable shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately
• Perform EKGs, splinting, and blood glucose testing using glucometer
• Assist with phlebotomy procedures as required
• Support patients with daily living activities, including mobility, hygiene, and feeding
• Collaborate with nursing staff to maintain high standards of care
• Participate in weekend rotations and occasional variable shifts as needed

Qualifications

• Current CNA license in the State of Maine
• Proficient in EKG, vitals monitoring, splinting, and glucometer usage
• Phlebotomy skills required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a variable schedule
